We are huge fans of Huawei devices, so we’re very pleased to announce that we have been in proactive conversations about how we can develop Howdoo to best fit into the Huawei ecosystem, including mobile, Harmony OS and other exciting innovations.
The first official announcement from us is that the Howdoo app will be available next week as a featured app in the Huawei AppGallery.
Howdoo’s quest to bring the social media revolution to more content creators and users continues to move forward. This new version will complement those already available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The distribution platform for apps across Huawei mobile devices, AppGallery is where users can search for, download, manage and share apps. AppGallery already contains a strong collection of games and useful apps, a collection that is growing all the time, and we’re proud to be invited to launch Howdoo on there.
Furthermore, this is just one of a wider range of potential developments in the pipeline. We’re also exploring additional opportunities to grow in partnership with Huawei, including the transition from GMS (Google Mobile Services) to HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) and specific development requirements for Harmony OS. Over the next week, we will also be announcing a large Huawei competition for our community, where they can win one of the latest devices.
It’s another exciting development for Howdoo, as part of our fairer, clearer approach to social media that puts users in charge. Howdoo allows creators to host every type of content in one place, and users to control what they see and how they’re advertised to.
Jason Sibley, Howdoo’s Chief Marketing Officer, added: “The Howdoo app for Huawei AppGallery is going to help us bring Howdoo to a whole new audience. We’ve been involved in a number of meetings and discussions with Huawei in recent weeks and months about how we can work together, and this app development is the first result of these. There is more to come.”
We look forward to making further announcements over the coming weeks.
